US receives first of two 'Iron Dome' batteries from Israel, plans to buy more halted
In a quiet ceremony on Wednesday, the U.S. received its first or two pre-ordered Iron Dome batteries from Israel, with Defense Minister Benny Gantz hailing the moment “as further proof that the defense alliance [between the U.S. and Israel] is based on common values and interests, which are stronger than ever.”
